Thanks to the commitment and collaboration of Fundación Coca-Cola México, Fundación Televisa, Grupo Embotellador Nayar, and the production of the telenovela A-Mar, the Sebastián Lerdo de Tejada elementary school in La Peñita de Jaltemba and the José Ma. Pino Suárez middle school in Higuera Blanca, Nayarit, now have a rainwater harvesting system after joining the “Escuelas con Agua” (Schools with Water) program.
Compostela and Bahía de Banderas have become the tenth and eleventh schools in Nayarit, respectively, and among thousands across Mexico, to join the Schools with water program. Thanks to the rainwater harvesting system, students will now have access to an alternative source of clean water for daily use.
David Zepeda, actor and star of the telenovela A-Mar, sponsored the installations and both events.
