In December 1973, he married Cecilia Margarita Guzmán Hernández, and together they had three children: Ana Cecilia, Ricardo, and Rodrigo.

His childhood and adolescence took place in the city of Tepic, Nayarit, from where he later moved to pursue his university studies in Public Accounting at the University of Guadalajara. He distinguished himself as an excellent student, a background that enabled him to be hired in Mexico City by the renowned Accounting and Auditing Firm “González Oses,” where he served as an Auditor and was subsequently promoted to Chief Auditor.

In 1972, he was invited by his friend, CPA Antonio Echevarría Domínguez from Tepic, Nayarit, to join the foundation of the “Fraccionamiento Ciudad del Valle” project as General Manager of the newly established Promotora de Inversiones de Nayar S.A. de C.V., a company that marked the beginning of Alica Business Group.

Thanks to his outstanding performance and results, he held various executive positions within Alica Business Group. He became the second General Director of Alica Group, always demonstrating a high sense of identity and strong institutional loyalty to the corporate vision.
