Enrique Echevarría Domínguez was born in Santiago Ixcuintla, Nayarit, on June 1, 1946. He was the younger brother of Antonio Echevarría Domínguez. He was married to Martha Beatriz Aldrete Mora, with whom he had two children, Martha Beatriz and Enrique Echevarría Aldrete.
He pursued higher education at the University of Guadalajara, where he trained as a Mechanical Electrical Engineer. He began his professional career at Tabacos en Rama TERSA, where he held the position of Production Manager.
He joined Grupo Álica as General Manager of Grupo Embotellador Nayar. He was the first director of Grupo Álica, later serving as a Board Member and eventually being appointed Executive President. Additionally, he acted as a Special Representative for various companies and was a co-founding associate of Fundación Álica de Nayarit A.C.
As a businessman, Engineer Enrique Echevarría Domínguez led business chambers in the state of Nayarit, such as CANACINTRA and COPARMEX, contributing his knowledge to the benefit of Nayarit’s business sector. He passed away on January 15, 2018, in the city of Tepic at the age of 72.
