José Antonio Salas Zapata holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Tecnológica de México, Mexico City campus. He also earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from UNIVA, Guadalajara campus, preparing him to excel in the business field.

His business vision, professional experience, and above all, his leadership and empathy have led him to hold this position within the most important business conglomerate in Nayarit.

He joined Alica Group in 1982 and, from that time to the present, has held various operational, administrative, and managerial positions in different business units within the Group. In April 2022, he was appointed General Coordinator of Alica Group by C.P.A. Antonio Echevarría Domínguez.

Throughout these years, he has also held positions in various business sectors, including serving as a Board Member of Coparmex and President of AMPI Tepic. Additionally, he has stood out as National Board Member of AMPI and Vice President of CANADEVI Nayarit.
